Pre-Insulated Terminals

Pre-insulated terminals are electrical connectors featuring an integral insulation sleeve, typically made from PVC or Nylon, designed for crimp termination. These terminals provide electrical insulation and mechanical protection upon installation. They are constructed from tin-plated copper or brass, ensuring reliable conductivity, and are colour-coded (Red, Blue, Yellow) to indicate specific conductor cross-sectional areas (0.5-1.5mm², 1.5-2.5mm², 4.0-6.0mm²). A flared entry design facilitates easy wire insertion, and some variants include a copper insert for enhanced crimp strength.
